As the global sponsors of the FA Cup, Budweiser needed a partner that could help them build brand awareness and association with the world’s oldest football competition.
Through the development of a countrywide activation campaign that encouraged the Vietnamese audience to follow the FA Cup, Budweiser were able to boost overall brand awareness and market share. Capitalising on this interest Budweiser further invited audiences to participate in a chance to win tickets to the FA Cup final in the UK and so further boosting campaign sales.
Working with the Budweiser team in creating a strong local association for Budweiser and the FA Cup, red brand builders took the “The FA Cup with Budweiser in Vietnam” campaign nationwide.
What resulted was a multi-channel communication campaign that continued to speak locally what Budweiser have been expressing as a global brand, their passion, love and commitment to football and the FA Cup.
