November 19, 2009 at Hotel Equatorial HCMC, Admax Network in partnership with red | Brand Builders and Effective Measure held the first Digital Publisher Workshop in Vietnam.
Over 80 Publishers explored ways to better monetize their website content, build their brands across the digital channel and how to better measure their website’s audience and behavior.
All three topics combined to help educate the publishers on how to better build their brands, run their websites, measure the results and create long lasting brand value for their audience and advertisers.
Chris Elkin, Managing Director of red | Brand Builders, challenged the audience to view their publishing business as ‘a brand’ that can be built and marketed over time like any other.
“Putting your target audience attitudes, demographics, and digital behavior at the heart of your brand and marketing planning is key. Publisher Brands need to think more strategically, clearly position/differentiate their brands and develop an online value proposition that extends what they offer in the real world to create unique online benefits and new experiences to deepen brand relationships with their consumers. Making consumers come back to their website over the long-term gives more reasons for advertisers to partner with them. New revenue will follow.”
